Sue Ryder schemes
The Streame, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
The Foundation has now completed the Nenagh scheme.
The development at the Streame Centre in Nenagh is situated circa. 1 km from the town centre on the main Limerick Road and consists of 50 self-contained apartments. Each resident will have their own private apartment, with one or two bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen/livingroom. Each apartment is secured by an emergency response system. Additional services provided will include 24 hour manager or supervisor on site, a 4 course lunch 365 days of the year, laundry service and domestic cleaning service to each apartment.
The Nenagh house includes communal sitting rooms and landscaped gardens to promote the integration of residents within the development. We also have a small Oratory where we will have religious services and where our residence may just sit and pray or reflect.
The Sue Ryder House in Nenagh will enable one to live independently without the burden, worry or responsibility of maintaining a house. It allows for the company and companionship of neighbours who share similar interests. This accommodation offers support to those who need it, while respecting privacy and independence in a safe and secure environment.
Residents pay a weekly or monthly rent based on their income, which covers all their ESB, TV and heating/fuel bills, their main meal, their housekeeping and their laundry.
Sinead Daly-Dillon is the Scheme Manager and she would be delighted to show you around this beautiful facility. Call on (067) 41230 to arrange an appointment.
